WOW, just look at the grease fitting for the front axle inner shaft needle bearings-- Money well spent!

john, what is the labor cost that allj is charging you ?
is it all wrapped up under 1 blanket charge or how was that part of the deal worked out ?

just curious what the delta was from parts vs. labor.

I won't know for sure until it is all done. I will have a break down for parts and labor charges and such in the near future. There are several parts that end up being hand made to the vehicle due to minor differences between vehicles and that really adds to the labor cost. I also killed my budget on this by upgrading several components along the way. There is definately a cheaper way to do it by using parts that you can upgrade in the future versus going for the good stuff right away. For me it was easier and cheaper to go straight to the good stuff from the start and not have to worry about upgrading later......not to say that won't happen.....it Is a Jeep after all.

Yeah it never ends unless you pick a point to stop at and then stop looking for upgrades. I figure that on 33's and w/ what I have already I should never have to upgrade and w/ my light throttle foot I doubt (knock on wood) that I will break anything.

Oh trust me, when your wife puts a .45 to your forehead, or other head, you will stop spending on the Jeep....

Boy am I glad I don't have a wife like that....She would use a rifle from a further distance... at least it will be a surprise

Seriously though, I am in no danger, I get a 7 month deployment for her to realize I am worth what I am spending

No worries here, she loves me and fully supports my hobbies. Always has and it has never been a problem. I would like to get her shooting a .45 though. (no money left over to start more gun buying any time soon though)

I just ordered a special Law Enforcement Para Ordinance .45. 5-15rnd mags, Sterling Finnish w/black parts (sights, pistol grips,etc..), with custom engraving for $695. Too bad it probably won't arrive until I am gone.

You may have touched base on this but what are you doing with the exhaust by the front drive shaft?

Chris

That is for the exhaust shop to figure out. I have no idea yet.

Got an update for us JJ? I'm sure I'm not the only one curious about it.
