Guys/Gals I have a 06 Liberty Limited 4x4. I love the fender flares on the Renegade Liberty. Will they fit on my Limited? And if not is there another place that has aftermarket fender flares that will fit my libby?

I googled and didnt find anything. Most on the Wrangler. So if some of you have any other info greatly appreciated.

That's strange, I've been thinking of this too! I have an 03 Sport and have been thinking of buying some reni flares. Since they will fit, I'll have to hit 'thr yards' around here and see if theres any 'lying around'.

I think somebody with acceess to a salvage yard with 2 complete set of fenders some sheet metal and some fiberglass matte cloth and resin and pop rivets could extend the factory fenders and actually with a little skull sweat make them better. If anybody could locate double set and send them to me I would be happy to dremmell experiment and attempt to create a set of extended fenders. being as I'm currently down on my luck unemployeed and virtually disabled I am shall we say financially emberassed  . But I have some tools and knowledge and a lot of time on my hands. If anyone wish to venture into this creative experiment I welcome all assistance. Who knows maybe we could create a product much desired my many a LOST member  It's been years since I played with fiberglass fabrication . But being as most of the time I can only walk with the assistance of a cane, I do have time on my hands and as I said a dremmel patch material and 2 sets of fenders I think I could create a set of flair fenders just tell me how much extention you desire

I'd like to know what you guys would think of driving on the street with this setup, it looks like you might not be able to turn the wheel too far in either direction......

Just remember trhat you can only use Renny flares from a '05-'07 on a '05-'07 KJ,and only use Renny flares from a '02-'04 on a '02-'04 KJ since they redesigned the front ends in '05 and they are not interchangeable.

It appears that he has cut all four wheel wells open quite a bit.

I agree, thats possibly the most unattractive KJ I've ever seen. Swampthing can rock those 33's, but that guy made that thing look goofy, I wonder if it plays la cucaracha  .

this is my humble opinion.

not to offend anyones own personal taste.

Needs bumpers to match the width, imo.

lol this is in no way ment to be a racist commet; just an observation. the only people that have the super wide tires that stick out way past the body are eiter uber rednecks or mexicans. I dont understand what the facination is. I do think that the flares look alright just a little lony on the backs of them making them look to much like something out of the '30s or '40s. I think if you made the lines on them a bit more agressive and blocked off they might look a bit better. An bumpers would probably help a lot/

yes they almost all have the wide flares like that no matter the vehicle, must be someone up there doing a great business in flare making. Been scanning videos from there and very interesting 4 wheeling out across nothing but snow and ice and COLD!!!

Iceland does the wide flares to cover really wide tires that are necessary to stay on top of the ice/snow on their offroad treks - it not really a style issue - it's an offroad adaptation.
There have been magazine articles covering them.

(including some really weird vehicles)
