Wow. Did you HAVE to remove the fenders and door to start the fitting?

LOL :-)r Boy I would not sell many if that was the case. He hit a deer and smashed the whole front of his jeep so as part of the repair he is installing a new bumper. :D

I'm wondering how many people are looking to get it painted black or atlantic blue? is the $75 cost because setup is so high for individual paints? Perhaps if 5 or more people commit to a certain color, would that drive the costs down?

After looking at all the other bumpers and price points, this one definitely wins! Now to see how much it'd cost to freight it. Crash, I like your idea of seeing about your friend's hauling biz.. if he is delivering to WA, I could pick it up nearly anywhere (well perhaps not the SE portion of the state, but everywhere else) :D :D

I am planning on ordering one and driving down from Spokane to have it installed in April or May. If I had a small trailer I could bring a few back as far as Spokane. I don't have a small trailer but if someone in the Seattle area had one to loan me ( I think several from there are interested in this bumper ) I could bring several back.

I do agree with you that the Rl bomper has the best angle but this bumper was built to be half utility and half eye candy.

Heh I just sold my 'small' trailer, I only have a big trailer now (~2000lbs) -- Crash was mentioning something about getting it freighted up to WA state through a friend, and that might be cheaper

Im not completely sure on the shipping up there at this point he is making runs to texas right now. So it just depends if he gets going back that direction. I would take cowcatcher up on his idea.

And as fo rthe paint it just costs that much for the paint I use it is about $25 a quart that puts roughly 3 to 4 coats on the bumper, the primer is a little more than that it is like $30 a quart and then when you add in the liners, thinners, reducers, and everything else it takes I am probably donating the time and taking alittle out of pocket. :D But thats ok for now.

OK.......

Here she is, freshly painted and put back together at the body shop. I am taking it home tonight and will trim the inner fenders to-marrow!

Major improvement from first photo to last photo!!!!!!! What do you think?

Ya something like that, They just took the time to prep it so it is flawless I just did not think someone would go to that extent with a steel bumper.
