So I finally go everything done today..it only took like a day and a half. I ran into almost every major problem. The final one being that the LBJ stud threads were all messed up i guess from road debris, .......
Same thing happened to me. Sorry I didn't tell you how I fixed mine.
the key to it is the Nyloc nut. it wants to do its job before you get it tightened. that nylon end grabbs the threads and makes it a witch to tighten because the ball joint then wants to do it's job, too soon. A friend told me to use ANYTHING liquid, (spit, beer, no wait he said don't waste the beer, loctite, vasiline... what ever) to lube the nylon part and then use as fast of a wrench (Impact, drill with socket, what ever) to spin that nut on as fast as possible while using channel locks on the nuckle and lower control arm to squeeze the ball joint together. once it was tightened then i could torque it to specs.
Sorry for that important bit of info left out.
Looks great and i bet it rides even better. ENJOY!!!!
