After only 4000 miles on our CRD, we had to get new tires. Those Wrangler STs were just too squirrely.
We went with Toyo Open Country A/Ts, and let me tell you - quite the difference!
The CRD will still break em loose on wet roads - but they don't stay spinning like the Goodyears. They will just slip a little, then the LSD kicks in and they start to grab.
WOW.
Anyone with a new Liberty - just dump the Wranglers right away. Seriously.
Just consider them a "Goodyear Tax" on new jeeps - and budget right away to put better rubber beneath you. You will not regret it....
Had to do the same with the GoodYears on my Magnum by the 7,000 mile mark and went with a new set of Michelin HydroEdge and they are awesome wet or dry.
