Looking good Chris. Pity about the turnbuckles blocking the side spaces - can you find another way to hold them in place?

Only thing that comes to mind atm is a right angle bracket that I can screw to the draws & lock onto the tie down points some how. But yes it does limit some of the space, I was thinking that a cheap K-mart fridge would slot in there just fine but the turnbuckle will stop that.

Thats great.

you should be able to pick up some shelf brakets from Bunnings and use them , that would hold it down nicely and give you back that little bit extra space..

Good buying Chris

Soon Ed, still a little stressed with trying to sell the house. Just spoke to Karen about Putty Forest, sounds good but not sure about Sat as she wants to look at some opens. I will talk to you later in the week about Monday as a possible.

I just bought a small 24L soft bag fridge for day trips, $34 at K-Mart. I now need to make a small stand for it to sit on, the rear is sitting on the wheel arch. It's a tight fit but works just fine.

I'll test it out tomorrow, just need to remember not to leave it connected without the engine running. Other wise it will be flat battery time. Anyway for $34 I'm happy.

Looks good.
I think Jaycar have a battery protector you might be able to run it inline so if the voltage drops to 12.3v it will auto cut out.

Need to be extra careful about turning it off since it's a thermo-electric cooler.
They usually suck 60watt's 24/7 (5a/hr).

Talk to you about that tomorrow :?

I re-mounted the turnbuckles on the drivers side, now the cooler can sit nice and low 8)

Hey Chris,

I finally got my account sorted. Good to see the draws are being put to good use again. I like the mods you have made.

Hey Glen,
Glad to see you got LOST, when Ed gets back from Osaka we will have to arrange a day trip up to the Blue Mtns & have a BBQ.
