Question for ThunderbirdJunkie and meh_kick...moose is asking what time we are getting started Sunday on the front hitch install and how long it will take. I have offered the use of the garage and a helping hand with the install of his locker on Sunday if he wanted to come down and join us.

You can always get the Mopar one's from either jparts.com or a dealer in town. I like Milford Jeep/Dodge myself.

Since the drive there is, what, almost 2 hours I would think the earlier we meet and get on the road the better. I would like to spend as much time there as possible and still get home at a decent hour.

so i think meduncan is they only one that would be taking a little bit of a drive that morning and he mentioned on pg 3 that he didn't mind waking up early so if we all want to meet at ihop at 8-830a then we should get to haspin at a decent time..
if thats okay with everyone i say whoever is meeting at ihop prior to haspin then we should meet around 8ish... let me know what you guys think and if thats okay for you all... it should only take us like an hour or hour and a half to get to haspin from ihop on kemper.. i mapquested the trip from my house and i live in hamilton and it said it was about an hour, although i only entered the laurel city and not the exact address...

let me know... :D
thanks, Wes

Holy moly....I do believe Haspin is going to be quite interesting. I have never been there but I can only imagine with all the snow melting in the 50 degree temps expected next week that the level of mud there should be pretty high. Again, I have never been so I am unfamiliar with the terrain there. I imagine that since the place is pretty big that it will very...who knows. Anyone?

I have looked through all the pictures on the site when I first got the Jeep looking for places to wheel. That is what got me thinking...hearing all the stories of how muddy it is during the warmer weather I can only imagine what the terrain will be like next weekend :lol: I think when I make the run to the Military Surplus store for the folding shovel I will pick up a pair of rubber boots for the wife and I :wink:

I've only been there once - we followed signs for an ATV trail through the woods. The maps they have of the park are pretty lame, but I'll try to dig mine out.

With the mud, I'm betting that MTs are a necessity and we'll be airing way down to get a grip.
