As of right now there is a group of us meeting at 8am here in the Cincinnati area for a quick breakfast and then off to Haspin. Should take about 1.5 to 2 hrs. to get there. Our arrival time there is not in stone at this point.

We'll get there when we get there

If we're meeting at IHOP (isn't that the name of a one-legged waittress?) at 8, give us half an hour to chow and BS, then 1.5 hours to get there, I'd figure we'll get there at 10. If my bladder is as expected, more like 11

I am certain that the name of the game is going to be TRACTION. So good tires are a must, and as always, recovery points and body armor are very important as well.

Do you have a rear receiver hitch?

I would do the front first.. hey i also wanted to let you know that Tractor supply has tow hooks you can find some by the tow ropes and also by the chain and rope.. they bolt on with two bolts.
you could also put one heavy duty one in the rear but if you don't plan on gettin a rear hitch then i would do two in front and rear.. i think its always best to pull someone out from the front but sometime you just cant get to the front and you have to strap up to the rear..

honestly, I'd leave it at IHOP and save on gas to and from, and ride with somebody TO haspin.

It won't be much fun w/o rubber, having to be strapped everywhere and such.

its up to you i would still wheel if your wanting to... just don't get in spot where we cant strap up to the rear but i dunno how we couldn't get you from the rear.. i would still go but thats completely up to you.. its not like you cant wheel because you don't have front hooks

it's his tires I'm concerned about. it's gonna be sloppy and muddy, and he's still on OEM rubber so he's DEFINITELY going to NEED hooks at both ends...If it weren't going to be so sloppy, I'd say go for it. I don't think you understand how slick that place is when it's wet. it's rutted, and when you slide, you go into a rut...then you're buried. A locked CJ7 on 35s had trouble dragging my little KJ out of a nasty rut...
