Hey everyone...I just bought a set of those fog lights that install on the bull bars ( not the oem ones)
Since I have never done any type of car electrical jobs before, I was wondering if somebody could help me out on how to wire the lights to cabin. It is very appreciated because I do not have 100 bux sitting around to give a car electronics shop to do the job.
If anyone is willing to make this sacrifice for me, please be as much detailed as possible
Thank you

I've always wired them through the ignition-hot terminal on my starter solenoids on my rigs, but I've got no idea where the ignition solenoid on the Liberty is.

alternatively, you could just run it off the battery, and make sure you always turn the lights off.

there are plenty of grommeted holes in the firewall to put wires into your interior...where exactly did you want to put your switch?

on the left side of the steering wheel. There is a piece of trimming that is used to put the switch for the lights on top as well ( the renegade light bar)
Also, if i run the wires through the engine, wouldn't that be a little dangerous in case if something gets melted or cut or perhaps some water causing a short circuit......

If you wire directly to the battery, just make sure you also use a relay. You can hook the realy up to your fogs or your low beams, then they'll only work and draw power if the fogs are on. This is how my driving lights are connected, though I run them off of the high beams.
