Let`s get a thread started to get everyone up to speed and see who all is going and to help answer any questions for those that have any. I`ll post a rough list below of who is or may be going and please post to let us know if you are coming or not. It`d be great to see everyone, especially new members!

For those that are stock, rest assure we will at least do a stock run. So as long as you have at least 1 tow hook or hitch and basic skidplates, you will be fine. If we have only "lifted" KJ`s, then we will do some more "tougher" trails. If we have a mix, then we can possibly have two groups go, depending on the #`s. At the least, we will have a stock run.

We will all meet at 7:30am at the Exxon which is 1/4 mile from the highway on the left. There you can gas up, get munchies and drinks, and chat with the rest of us while waiting for everyone. We will head out to Paragon at approximately 7:50 which will get us at the trailer by 8am to sign in.

For those that like to stay over and not have to drive 2,3,4 hours and then wheel (like me), you can get a hotel in the area. I always suggest the Fairfield Inn at Hazleton as I have stayed there many times in the past and even though the hotel is a tad more than others, it is a very nice, first rate hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms. You can even get a 10% discount (for those that don`t have AAA, etc.). Just call Shannon or Katie and mention the LOST Liberty Group.

I suggest you bring a lunch and some drinks for our lunchtime stop (as mentioned above, if you don`t bring some, you can get it at the Exxon which also has a Subway in it). It`ll also be cooler on Saturday, so bring some warmer clothes and a jacket. If anyone else has suggestions that I forgot to cover, please by all means, post them!

David and I also want to mention that we welcome all members and family! For those that are new, don`t be shy! Come on and join us. We`d love to have you. If you are stock and have worries, we will take care of you. If you are curious about going wheeling, but you are not sure you want to go offroading with your KJ yet, there is an open invitation to ride along with any one of us. Just park the KJ in the parking lot and hop in for a fun day! We are a friendly bunch and the "Paragon Veterans" amongst us are awesome people! Oh, and just to point out, some of us bring along our "significant others" so there is girl company for those that want to bring the "better halves". ;)

So, come and join us!

Mike

p.s. If anyone needs my phone #, gimme a pm and I`ll send it along.

I'm in.

Anyone know if I can get diesel at this Exxon? Or do I need to fuel before I get there?

We`ll miss you Mike.

I`m almost positive they do have Diesel there but that`s not 100% sure.

Will not make this run, have a front diff. pinion seal leak and the belt tensioner is acting up again. Have an appointment Tuesday at the Dealer to have serviced / rpaired. Hopefully I'll see you all next month! Joe :(

Wow I actually have off and might be able to make it, but I am totally stock. Just one tow hook up front. No lift, or skids at all. I have never been to paragon but it would be cool. Do you suggest I wait to get atleast skids or what?

Hey, Myke it seems I hae been chaseing your post all morning. I think we are going to be doing stock trails (not a hundred % sure) Paragon regs say that you need at least 1 recovery point so you are good on that part. I would suggest that you at least had a front skid. The factory skids are cheap in price but hold up well.

Looks like I'm grounded for this run. The Run at Rausch was a blast , but the blacks and high blues took their toll. The YJ is running better than ever with the new header pipe and no cat. Considering the repairs and the new rear "bumper/tow hook", no $$$$$ for a second November ride. I miss Paragon and the L.O.S.T. crew. I'll do my best to make the next monthly ride.

If this one does not carry deisel (I belive they do) then there is another store across the street. There are a lot of big trucks in this area so one of them should.

I'm back all in one piece... Just wanted to thank everyone for making my first time so much fun!

Thanks Mike, Al, Dave, Jason, Chris and Wendy for you patience, calm directions and support... there were a couple of times when I was just ever so slightly FREAKED OUT... but it was kind of cool to make it through that one place on "turtle" where the chick in the red jeep had to have her boyfriend drive :)

Looking forward to seeing the pictures!

Sharon

Well, the couple of full mud baths seem to have not bothered the little Jeep to bad. Looked at my Boo-Boo (also know as the tree) this morning and it is not that bad. Who wouldav thought they would let a tree grow in the woods, that was a dumb place for it. Got a little exhaust rattle on my skid plate. I'm gonna have to pull that thing off and beat out the dent. To all the regulars (Dave, Mike & Wendy, and of course that Crazy Yankee Al) thanks for the company. And to the newest off road people (Sharon & Jason) had a great time riding with you guys and hope to see ya'll on the trails again.

I have to say this trip was a blast! :D Glad to hear everyone had a great time. It’s good to finally meet some of you guys and gals. Thanks for all the help from ya'll. I can't wait to do it all over again. This time with a little more air under me.

I took a good look over my jeep today. I did a good number on the engine plate. It's smashed up pretty bad. I need to learn to control my lead foot. Now off to the DMV.

Sounds like you all had a great run. I can't wait to see the pics and a list of the trails run, but unless they've worked on Turtle I'd say you did real well with and unlifted KJ in the heard. I'm sure you had some good spotting. I know I've gone half way to the dark side, but they say once L.O.S.T always L.O.S.T. Looking forward to wheelin with you guys and girls again.

I say my unlifted Lib. did pretty well. I only had to be spotted twice on this trail. But everyone was spotted in these areas. I'm getting the lift installed in two weeks thanks to JeepinAl. Now if I can only keep parts from falling off I’ll be ok. The front license plate and bracket went on trail 25, and somewhere Chris picked up one of my shackles that must have vibrated apart some where. I but you are right once L.O.S.T always L.O.S.T. Hopefully we will see you on the next run.

Jason
