I have next Friday off and my Sheriff buddy Jack wants to try and find the area called Little Moab. It is supposed to be around Heber somewhere... If anyone can pass on the directions or wants to come up and show us, post up or PM me (I know it is usually kept a secret)

Thanks,

I'm not familiar with the term little moab. I have heard of an area called the cracks near heber. I suspect it is probably the same thing. I thought it was on private property but I could be wrong.
The place I have heard it mentioned is on the AZ virtual jeep club. Might do some searching there

Here's a few links that may help. Contact some of these folks and maybe the high country renegades. The rim country four wheelers may be familiar with the area also.

Man it alwasy seems that I have to be gone when you guys are making a run like this. The area you are talking about is called the Cracks or Mini Moab. It is only like 25 minutes from my house. A very fun area and has some very cool spots to pass. I wish I was able to make it but I will be out of town. Stupid work... Not really. Maybe we can plan another trip for this area again. Later....Clint

Well, after studying the pictures from "The Cracks" Jack and myself were able to use a little landmark relationship and found the trail. We were in my Dodge out doing some desert running so we didn't do any of the trail on Friday. Today T. and I went back with the KJ and played a little. It is a great trail with a lot of good obstacles although some were too much for the KJ it was still fun. Here are a few pics.

Sweet pictures, that is some serious air. You've got us hooked now, when can we do a run?

Sorry,
Well, as with soo many things I plan to do, I was unable to go make it down there. But I have Bill's phone numbers and I will call him and talk to him soon. I'm sure we can do a run as they don't own the land it's on. It's on BLM land and some private land and I know who it is.

Bill called me yesterday and I spoke with him about running it and he is concerned that it is too much for the Liberties. Whatever!!!! Yeah, some of it is but we can do parts of it. If you guys want to put a run together up here I will do it! We can play there and then go play in some other places I know about in the general area. We got rocks, two tracks, sand dunes, and I have a great camp spot if you want to make a weekend of it.

Let me know and I will start planning!!!!!!!!!!!
