Couple issues....

ok well i noticed this problem with Al's upper a arms and it does not look good at all... What do yall think?

2nd.I know this has been covered before but... Its getting near time for 4.10 gears and lockers. I want to do both at the same time. Choosing a locker is proving to be tough. Of course i want ARB front and rear, but it is not realistic for my budget. An automatic locker is what I'm looking for, I'm totally open now so If i did buy a lunch box locker I would still have to get a carrier. I know there are some who have little love for lunchbox lockers. Some rearend noise isn't bad but i don't want one thats going to eat up my tires. What are most running front and rear? Best bang for the buck? ALSO what spline axle shafts are in the 8.25 27 or 29?

Well, there was a page on jeepinbyal.com that showed how they suggested grinding out that pocket by .750 inches to allow the arm to have maximum travel up and down. But now when I click on the link to that page, the page is missing...

Well, I think that was just recently added to the site, and now that its down, maybe that means that they found something wrong with doing that.

mine was doing that too.

Simple fix:
jack and support KJ
remove tires
remove castle nut from UCA
Push UCA up and zip tie to spring to keep it up and out of the way
Cut off extra metal with a sawzall
Cover bare metal with paint
Put KJ back together
Test extensively on rocky/muddy terrain (this is the most important part...DONT LEAVE OUT!!!!)

the metal is easy to cut, about 15 minutes per side to get it done.

SO does anyone have any problems or sugestions in favor of or against a Detroit Locker in the rear and a detroit trutrac up front with 4.10 gears?

That would be very good setup and cheaper then F/R ARB's,I love my TT up front.
