Not important, but I am curious about this; the controls for the fan speed, temp, and "mode" (bi-level, defrost, etc) has little dots (.) in between the different settings. Anyone know what setting the controls on that actually does?

The only knob that has dots in between the modes on my KK is the mode selector. The knob will stop between modes and blend one to the next. For example, between Defrost and Floor, there are 3 additional stops... the center of those is the icon that blends the defrost and the floor, a roughly equal blend. The other 2 represent varying levels of blend. The dot between the floor/defrost blend and defrost itself represents 3/4s towards the windshield and 1/4 towards the floor, etc.

Ah, ok. I wondered what it was for, but couldn't find an explanation anywhere. Thanks for the info.
