Started the jeep up in PA this morning to begin a trip home and had the dreaded light. When I got home I shot over to Autozone and had them check it. It came up as P0683 - glow plug/heater control module. I have 42K on the Libby and doubt that the entire module is bad but from hearing everyone else talk it sounds like a faulty glow plug. Does this sound about right? It is an 05 so I do have the 7/70 powertrain...would a glow plug be covered? Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

I seems to depend upon "which" warranty, some consider those things to be in the same category as filters, brake pads, etc. It's in the fine print...

We bought our 2005 with 30k miles, and it needed one or two almost immediately. No problems since, and we're nearing 60k.
