This is not a permanent count, and I still don't have a groupbuy price for us. I am talking to vendors but I need to know how many people are currently interested, which is somewhat hard to do without knowing a groupbuy price.

So here's how this will work, we know the regular retail price is $300. I'm going to put up the poll with $10 increments. Lets say the increment is + shipping.

So the $300 option would mean you are willing to pay $300 plus shipping. Please select the maximum price that you will be willing to pay in the groupbuy, please keep in mind that if you select a poll option I need to be able to count on these numbers for our groupbuy pricing. This way I can tally down the list and know how many people we have at 300, 290, 280, 270, 260, etc so when I talk to the vendor I can give them rough number for the pricing area we are looking at.

I really hope I am not confusing anyone here with this. If you dont understand what I am asking for hold off on selecting the poll option and post up and I will try to help you understand.

Thanks all!

(also, keep in mind, 2 new stock hoses will set you back about $200 at list price, and won't last much longer than your first hoses did)

Just out of curiousity, how long should the stock hoses last? I'm at 2 years and 27K still going strong. What is Samco warrenty?

Even at the $300 price, I'm interested in these. I plan on keeping the Libby for quite awhile, and having a blown hose in the middle of nowhere is a very unappealing idea. I bought this vehicle because I need a reliable, economical vehicle to go to off highway sites (some of which are 10 miles or so from paved highways) , and I'm interested in keeping it reliable.

Ditto!! I live rural and just getting it to a dealer is 45 miles away. I was thinking of getting a spare set of OEM hoses to keep on hand JIC. I would rather pony up for the Samco hoses.

Copy that, thanks everyone for voting, this is really helpful right now.

I guess I will leave the poll up untill tuesday, since we wont have alot of votes in by the end of the business day for me to make my follow up calls, I will hope to catch stragglers over the holiday weekend.

I missed the poll, but I'd be in at $250 + shipping.

I must have missed a lot of info somewhere. What is it about the Samco hoses that are better then the OEM??? 40K on any hose doesn't seem unresonable.

You did. The Samco hoses are silicone and won't weep oil and burst like OEM cheap rubber.

Well. OK I'm in but only if the cost is equal to or lower the OEM. Otherwise, I'll pick up a spare set of OEM and plan on changing every 3 years or so.

Obviously, though most vendors want to know how many people I have interested before even releasing a price, at least this I have a rough idea when I talk to them.
