i have some hella 500's and i cant figure out how to mount them. i've measured and marked where i want them to be but under the bumper there is a plastic piece that would be in the way of me trying to tighten the nut at the bottom of the light. i dont want to drill any holes with out being 100% sure i can finish the job.

Ok... What is the plastic thing? Can you remove it? Can you drill thru it? Mount the lights elsewhere?

i dont know what it is. its is black and semi hard plastic. i have an 04 and its right under the middle part of the bumper. i may be able to drill through it but i'd still have trouble readching the nut. do you want pixx?
