When you had the brakes done, were the calipers able to slide back and forth on the pins? Did you have a stuck piston in one of your calipers?
Shimmy or Vibration is either a brake related problem or a steering / suspension problem. - You might have to trouble shoot by eliminating different items on the KJ. Not the rotors. Not the tires... could be this or that.. keep going and eventually you'll sort it out.
I didn't do the breaks so I will call them today, I get along with the guy that did it so he should be happy to talk about it (not Jeep). I also got them to go over the front to see if anything was loose, this was when I got the breaks & rotation done and he didn't find anything loose. If it's steering related, what should I look for, I just tried to shake the steering arm (tie rod? the one that pushes and pulls the wheel for steering) but no movement. If the callipers did slide back and forth what would that indicate? and again on a stuck piston? I'm not familiar with how the breaks are set up and work.

Does the shimmy/vibration transfer up thru the steering wheel? Does the steering wheel actually shake in your hands when applying the brakes? If so, then rotors are most likely the cause.
Check for broken belts in the tires . Rotate the tires to see if the condition changes. Do you have disc brakes all way round, or just front discs?
No vibration in the steering wheel & no vibration on the foot pedal when breaking + no pulling to left or right when breaking.
Disc brakes all round but the rear looked fine so no need to change or machine. Tyres look fine to me but I will have a better look on the weekend.
