Could someone give me the scoop on these? I ordered them today (pick up tomorrow) because I have to remove the wheel well liner when I install my snorkel this Saturday.
I have read posts on here that seem to contradict the others.

Do you need a rivet gun to fasten these?
Do you need a special rivet gun?
Do you need no rivet gun at all?

Anyone out there with personal experience with these, I'd appreciate your input.

Thank you

Rivet gun would help but you can get by with a screwdriver and a plier. Grab the head of the rivet with the plier, hold down the sleeve with the screwdriver and just pull down hard. Clip off the excess when it's nice and tight.

I have a Mac Tools rivet gun at home. I will check to see if any of the heads are the right size. Or does anyone happen to know the size required?

Well, that was part of my initial inquiry.

I have used a standard rivet gun, but had to remove the fitting on the end of the gun that holds the rivet. I couldn't find one that had a large enough opening to take the plastic rivets. So by removing the fitting on the gun that is sized for the appropriate rivet, it is large enough to hold the plastic rivet.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you.

As far as the antenna, have not listened to AM/FM since Sirius went on line.

I've never seen a standard rivet gun with a large enough head to set the rivets. You need something like a 3/16" nipple.

I've always used an adjustable wrench to hold it down while pulling back on the stem with a pair of vise-grips. Similar to DirtyKJ.

I drilled out the largest nipple to fit the plastic rivets, it was tight getting the stem in and I had to pull the stem out with a pair of pliers each time, but it worked great.
