Guys,
I was sure I saw here some time ago mention of a fitting to tap directly into a CAC hose for a boost gauge connection.
I think it was like a bolt with a clamp nut. The bolt had a hole through the middle. I have searched with numerous key words and can't find it. I actually don't need it for my vehicle but for a friend who needs a vacuum connection on his vehicle.
Any help would be appreciated.

Only place I've seen it is the European (German) SAMCO website...

Why couldn't you just tap into the MAP sensor to get boost information? Heck, that is what a ScanGuage II does via the OBD. That is also what my semi does to get the information for the boost guage... it just uses the MAP sensor.

Unfortunately this is not for a diesel, my friend needs a tapping for vacuum. The long story is that he had a propane gas injection kit installed and they botched the connection on the plastic intake duct. He doesn't want to go back to these butchers and was hoping to fix it himself properly. I was thinking of machining something up out of a bolt but I was sure I had seen what I was looking for here some time ago.

My old hoses were tapped before I put the metal tubes on. I can take a pic and send it to you tomorrow. It is dark now.
