I was driving from Reno to Mammoth Lakes, CA last week (in my rented Prius) and noticed that diesel was only 10% more the RUL. That's the good news.

The bad news was that RUL cost $5.10.

Hah! That must have been in Bridgeport CA. They always have the highest
prices.

I think we are just finally seeing the cold weather home heating oil demand drop to a point where diesel supplies are catching up with demand. Expect the climb to restart in the fall, unfortunately.

I think that would be consistent with the nation's current faith based national energy policy.

I've been getting B20 for $4.39 all last week. Yesterday it went up to $4.49

Our local station made a deal with Griffin Industries (they make BioDiesel) to sell blended diesel. That's great since we get better FE on B20, and it's cheaper!

Wow, that's excellent. The price of methanol is staying fairly low. My biodiesel is still costing me less than $1.00 a gallon in materials to make.

I'm paying a only a ten cent premium on B20 over #2 Diesel @ Duggan Petrol in Littleton.
