Cityview is 8km West of Beaudesert on Sandy Creek Road, which turns off the Beaudesert-Boonah Road about 4km west of Beaudesert.

So the best place to meet up would probably be in Beaudesert itself, at one of the servos.

Greg, you're obviously organising this, so I'll leave it up to you to phone Cityview (Contact Peter directly on 0424 568 886 ) to find out the cost and book us in.

How about meeting at Maccas in Beaudesert - that way we can at least have a coffee while waiting for the latecomers.

i agree you should ring peter at citiview and confirm

1 the park is still running
2 the tracks are passable for us with moderate lifts and 31's and 30" at's

from the latest scuttlebut the tracks are VERY interesting ( Ie medium tracks turning into HARD to EXTREME without warning)

i have talked to two guys in comp spec wranglers who were driving a hard track that suddenly turned into extreme ( these guys were in TJ's on 35's and a patrol on 35's both locked and ratiod and it took them 4 hours to get out

Have you ever tried to get Liz out of bed at 5am on a Sunday? On second thoughts, don't answer that!

8:30am in Beau is as early as I am prepared to commit to.

OK .... Fouros has some valid concerns about the park conditions, however, accordingly to Peter at Cityview the tracks are all OK at this moment. Last week-end saw a standard jeep compass do the tracks without concern apart from side steps clearance issues.

We still have the other options of:
a. D'Angular Ranges
OR
b. Double Island Point (DIP)

Final call...... :?:

So what's happening? Are we going to Cityview, D'Aguilar, anywhere?

I'm flying out to Perth tomorrow evening and would like to know by then

We are diffinately going some where. Fouros has raised concerns for the standard and condition of the tracks I have questioned Peter about this and he has said all is fine........he supplys maps of the various tracks and their condition at the time of entry. I will check again between now and 29th particularly if the weather changes.

Could we have vote on who wants to go where and then maybe majority rules. OK :?:

Anywhere not more than 90 minutes from home. You'll have to let Liz know the arrangements if they are made after Thursday as she doesn't browse the websites - she leaves it up to me to tell her if anything interesting is happening!

I'm still in for Sunday - CityView, it's close, it may shut in the future, and stu might make it.
3 good reasons for me.
