So do Noosa and Nerang - but Greg didn't get them confused when he needed a 36mm socket!

Is that anything to do with the Pope being in Sydney?

Where do I start, with the truth!. We can't afford it.... there..... said it, didn't want too but did the budget with Karen last night and things are tight. Having spent to date $1240 on the engineering report, and a further approx $750 to get new rims and have the report changed I've got no room for fun money. ANZ put up interest rate's again (2nd month in a row without the reserve bank) and all other costs make this an easy but sad decision. Without going further into it please let me say “I feel like crap” , so that's the story. If anything changes for the better then I will be back in, but as for now I'm out ( X 10'000)

Chris,
i feel for ya there, i'm with ANZ as well and these special rate rises are starting to bite a bit, especially with my tank and a 1/2 usage each week!. I've got my insurance, and major service due in August :( i've also got my unbudgeted expenses of new tyres, and some other fruit... its making it really hard for me to comit to this...

i think this will be my build year and next year i'll be taking part in a few weekenders... :):(:)

That sucks, man. Looks like you got caught up in Catch 22 - spend the money making your Jeep a better off-road vehicle, then you don't have enough left to take it off-road.

We'll probably be coming through Sydney after Christmas, so we'll have to catch up then.

Dissapointing news CD. T/J.a.G will be struggling to get there at this stage too. Without a front diff. will be a challenge on sand. But hey, there will be other trips we can catch up on!!

Announcement!! News Flash!!!
The party will be augmented by Team J&J - Liz's sister and brother-in-law. Unfortunately they are misguided enough to drive a TD Pajero but hey - we've let Hutch in so we can't complain too much!

Don't Forget the VAP!!!
In addition to the cost of the ferry we will each need a Vehicle Access Permit which you can get online from here. Cost is $37.10 for a month permit.

Painted the rockrails today ready to fit tomorrow. Rattle-can satin black.
