That is awesome! By far one of the best roof setups for the kj I've seen to date.

Is it alright to put stuff on the roof, any scratching the clear coat or anything? how much weight alone can the roof hold? I am making my own roof rack, but i do not have a welder and i will be using the stock mounts kinda like you did kjhawaii. Maybe line-x the roof but then againi don't know about how much weight that will add?

I like it. It looks like even if you did have the moon roof it would still open with that rack. Hummmmmmmm

rack looks great and so does that red clay...i was in Kauai for alttle bit and dreamed of going off roading there...i did the 4wheeler tour groups...like the end caps on the rims also...different and low profile...i think this jeep is one of the best so far...keep up the pics :wink:

man.... i wish i could weld that roof rack opens a whole new world of ideas for me. hey what about instead of a flip over shelter just buy a retractable awning and mount it up?
