Alright, I fell victim to my key being stuck in the ignition this morning. I was about to jump on here screaming for help but it seems there are many that have this issue. The common fix seems to just be "bump" the shifter until you hear a click. I tried this with no luck, no amount of bumping, pushing, slamming, BFH would have done the trick!
I had to take off the center bezel and manually push the cable forward. I messed with the shifter a lot this morning trying to figure out what was going on, bumping and pushing for nearly 15min trying to track something down. It acts like the cable just needs to be oiled. I'll try that when I get back home.
I called the dealer and they apparently aren't allowed to give you a part #. They would be kind enough however to order it for a mere $76.35!
NO WAY, It's just a cable! So anyway, does anyone know how to adjust or oil this cable with any luck? Or possibly have a part # that I could try to find cheaper than a leg...
