Last week it was the T/C taking a crap. Today it CAC hose from the Intercooler to the FCV split. Stuck putting OEM hoses back in it because can't wait on back order for SAMCO.

For all those who have a good deal of miles on their CRD without a provent or other mod to remove the oil from CCV from getting into the CAC hoses I suggest buying the SAMCO hoses now before your OEM hoses split.

Compressor outlet hose is oily and hot @ 300*F - cac outlet hose out is not quite as oily, nowhere near 300*F - they dont practically need to be same ply-rating - but, they should

I bet ya you can hold your hand over 300f air longer than you can plunge it into 300f oil. Oil hold more BTUs per volume and getting blasted with 300f oil will degrade your turbo hose faster air with out oil.

Fab up some 1-3/4" aluminum tubing with mandrel bends bead roll the ends and swage out the ends to 2"to match up to the t/out and the IC/in use some orange silicone hose to couple it. Better boost response too and no flexie swollen hoses.

I thought of going to the muffler shop and doing this but may cost more in the long run. Will have to have 2 pipes, 4 connector, 8 clamps = total cost.
