I posted some pics of it in the fabricators section, shows how I bolted my roof rack on and also the air deflector,(last picture) mines like 7/8 inches total I think, been 3 years since I built it

The roof rack I made had a 9" wind deflector and I still lost 3-4 mpgs on windy days and 1-2 on normal days. Main reason it is sitting in my garage now instead of on my jeep.

alright well I got it all cut this morning I still need to take the hitch off again and clean and paint it, but it didnt come out quite like I thought it would I was hoping only the clevis tabs and the reciever were all that was going to stick out but oh well I have a hitch again

me too, I also liked the one I amde but it was just too heavy and I dont want that much unneeded weight back there

the one I made was about 130# plus the spare tire not much if any more than RL's but it was enough that it sagged some and I dont want that
