I have a kerma tune and now I have blocked the EGR and pulled the butterfly from the FCV and now I have no CEL. If I put the tuning back to stock, I get a CEL, but with the KERMA tune, no CEL. The block off plate and removal of the butterfly is easy.

So, if you do not want to cut your wiring harness, you can contact Charlie at KermaTDI.com and talk to him. I know that the MOD 2 tuning allows us to block off the EGR without getting a CEL. I am happy with it.
