Here's your Kool-aid. Take a big swig, Mkay?

Sam, you seem to be quite the liar. There is NO post by you between the one from Pablo, which I qouted, and the one where you started calling names & qouting me instead of Pablo.

Clearly it was not posted in this thread.

Yes, clearly. You never posted that here, where the erroneous info originated from. Obviously, threads grow seperated by space over time, so maybe someone a little less dense would have made a post that actually referencces the erroneous start, or maybe another thread? Wow. That doesn't seem that difficult.

So, why did you not call out Pablo & correct him? Don't bother answering. We all know why. This was done for a very specific reason: I stepped on your yittle toesies for not loving your CRD and now you want to make it personal.

This thread is going down hill fast... last chance. Keep it civil and on topic.

So the game is goad and taunt the crd guys into commenting on a post.
Scratch a line in the dirt, call us out, belittle us, then attack when we finally take the bait. Hmmm I remember when that used to happen... I think it was 4th grade. Those kids were a$$holes too.
I don't have a problem with either jeep, just some of the drivers.

It will be nice if this thread does stay open-- it should, as I would like to see the resolution to these fires posted (unfortunately, the cause and fix will probably not make the news at all as fixing taxis is not exciting as news of burning taxis).

Unfortunately, now that this thread is tied into another thread, it is a bit confusing.

They found the problem which caused the fires, the exhaust gas recirculation pipe overheats and sets fire to the under-bonnet cladding installed to reduce engine noise.

what the F is the point of the EGR? Seems kinda dumb and pointless to me...like the air pump that just dumps fresh air into the exhaust.
