We found a perfect place to mount a holster for our Glock 30 (0.45ACP) or Glock 29 (10mm). We are licensed to Carry. This is very convenient and follows the curves of the seat bracket. We had an extra In the Pants Holster which was made by Blade Tech so simply used the screws with the holster and put a piece of wood on the inside frame of the Driver Seat (used router to outline the lip for snug fit). Love to see your ideas too.

This is something that I'm going to think about here in a while. I'm going to mount it in a little less conspicuous area though. The second your door is opened everyone and their mom is going to know that you carry.

Isn't that the point...LOL..I understand though your line of thinking in placing it somewhere less obvious.

Well, they may notice these before they get a chance to eyeball the glock. =)

How do you like the glock? We had one here at the firm where the round blew out the side and took off the guys finger. It was a 45.

Mike' you don't need any permit to have it loaded in your vehicle like that. CCW is just for concealed on person in Nevada.

Seriously? No permit needed for a loaded gun in a vehicle in NV?

Sweet.

You may as well just open carry at that point. It's a discussion/argument for another place and time though.

Just check your local codes though. I know that North Las Vegas it is illegal to have a loaded handgun in your car. *shrug* cant win them all. And yes you can open carry with no problems...relatively no problems :) here in Nevada. That is why I love it.

Pretty sweet. I can imagine cops are a lil on edge when they pull you over and you tell them you're carrying.

( hijack on )I have fired tens of thousands of rounds through glocks, many of them through a .40 S&W 27, which is admittedly a different frame then the 10mm/.45acp. Been associated with hundreds of thousands of rounds through them. Never seen anything like that. You can get a defective anything, though.

I carried either a 19 or a 27 concealed for 20+ years with no problems. I think they are the perfect gun for anyone who isn't going to practice a bunch and needs simplicity when the SHTF. ( hijack off )

Darren......nice idea. I keep thinking of a mount but never get around to it. I just stuff mine, holster and all between the drivers seat and console, butt up. But then if I stop somewhere I have to put it under the seat out of sight ar wear it cc. Also I would never leave it in the vehicle overnight. It stays with me.

If you were worried about someone seeing it when you opened your door just tuck a rag over it.

Actually I have been pulled over multiple times and knock on wood never had a ticket. I actually think that having the concealed carry card has helped to get me out of tickets a couple of times because the officer starts talking to me about it. They can tell when they run your drivers license that you have a Permit... I just hand them my Concealed Carry Permit card behind the drivers license and let them know I have it with me. To most officers... this is a instant signal that you are a person of good character and that you have taken the time and money to get the permit. In Arkansas... that means that you have had no felonies and that Background Check has been performed before your card was issued. I highly suggest anyone with interest to get legal conceal carry. I love me some cops.... but they just can't be everywhere at the same time.

Love to all,
Darren

Hijack:
Why not have the gun on your person? Can you actually get to it if you are engaged in a fight? Are you left-handed? With the gun there I would bet the skinny petal on the right would come closer to solving more problems. Not trying to bash you but the key word in a gunfight is FIGHT! Rethink your defense set up IMHO.

P.S. Glocks are the best!

The Glock 30 (45ACP) now stays in the Liberty full time. A new addition to the Glock Family is the Model 33 (baby) in 0.357. =)
