Returning this weekend from cross country trip the engine started blowing oil. I thought that the oil filter started seeping so I picked up a new oil filter and oil to do a 6K plus oil change. However, when I put it up on the lift I saw that the turbo oil pressure line is leaking at the fittings that screws to the block. I dropped it off at the dealer because it is covered by extended warranty and I rather they be responsible if the turbo goes bad. The mechanic seen the leak and order the line and seals and expect them in 2 days. In the meantime I'm driving an 07 GC V6 as a loaner.

Something else to watch out for at 60,000 + miles.

I had the copper washers leak and oooze oil at the fitting on the top of the turbo below the actuator for the variableness of the turbo. Those were a bugger to change. They didn't blow oil, but seeped it, causing a burning oil smell inside the cabin after sitting for a while.

oops, I peeked under the hood of the GC and it's not a V6. Instead it has a gutless 4.7L V8 flex fuel that runs on E85. I will fill with what ever is cheaper when returning.
