[quote= and on a wetter note ... hope everyone got throug the storm ok. Minor flood here but according to our neighbour down at Koreelah the Senic Rim area took a hammering. Hope everyone at Sundown got through OK.[/quote]

Thanks for the concern............however we left the camp site dry but clouds and thunder threatening and drove into heavy rain from approx. east of Stanthorpe then it was steady rain back to the coast.

Is that the one between the two CV's in the front shaft, or the one on the end of the steering column??

Yep, when I was in high school there was this bloke that was a bit odd. Anyway one day we were getting changed for sport (in the boy's change rooms). Next thing you know he's in the shower recess with his belt around his neck and the other end tied to the shower spout on the wall. So we all stop stuffing around and say what's going on Richard, the silly $& is standing on the cloths seat and say's "see you on the other side" he jumps and the belt breaks  Then he hits the tiles with his knees 1st  . He's still alive today so I guess he's give up on the suicide thing.

I'm still laughing about that, even while I type LOL.. what a nutter.

I think Roscoe is dealing with storm damage (Thursday night) to his house and clean up that goes with it at the moment.

OK here goes.
Storm damage cleaned up inside for now, just waiting for windows to replace the plastic sheeting, could be a while as there are hundreds of houses to do and Blackwater has one glazier,(when he is not pissed at the bowls club) I spent all yesterday picking up glass and picking it out of the gyprock walls. Still got the outside to clean up. J10 coped it with many small hail dints, broken windscreen, mirror. Hail was the size of golf balls.
The 4.1's performed well on the way home, very noticeable difference to the "get up and go". now sits on 2050rpm at 100Ks instead of 1850, even Imelda asked what I did to it as it seems to go quicker when overtaking and she does not understand what I did to it or what ratio's do.The fuel consumption seemed to be a bit better but I will not make judgement on that yet until I have run a few more tank fulls through it to get a fair comparison. Since I have been home I have been running around with it in 4WD FULLTIME to wear in the front R&P before I have to use it under heavy load and the only time you notice the DTT's is a slightly heavier steering on tight corners and a stronger return to center, the rear diff does get a slight whine at around 85 to 95 Ks under hard acceleration but it is not unbearable.
Need a wheel alignment now as car pulls to the left but thats easy fixed, just have to wait till I go to Mackay next.

Hey Fro's
I would probable NOT mention anything about getting these to Sugie. If she rips your shoulder out over a game of scrable I can't imagine what she will do to you if you go to her on one knee asking if you can spend a couple of grand on the Jeep.

Yeah, saw the other night Blackwater was hit, Hope you didn't loose anything irraplaceable (sometime my brain no worky) . Hope you get the place together soon,

No real damage here at Home, just the hail has caused a few more holes in my old tin roof, I have had to put a tarp up there to keep the water out, will have to look at replacing roof now.

Bugger the J10 copped it, do you have windscreen in the insurance???

I say hold on to your Hats people as its not over yet, stil have months of this storm season to go, I hope it all settles down..
