Dear L.O.S.T KJ Midwest chapter,

In an effort to officially set the L.O.S.T. Midwest chapter in motion, a meeting was held on Sunday, December 18th, 2005 at Gameworks in Schaumburg, IL.

Attendees at this meeting were:
· Bogdan
· Don Neyrinck
· Matt Bourbon
· Robert Waddell
· Paul Baker
· Enrique Badani

Being one of the most active groups within the L.O.S.T. Midwest chapter, we realized there was a need to establish a core leadership and pursue the assigning of official roles. This was a necessary step to ensure the growth of our chapter. It will help us become a more organized region.

The outcome of this meeting was a group of elected officers whom will take this chapter of L.O.S.T. KJ Midwest to the next level.

Elected officials are as follow:

· President: Don Neyrinck
· Vice President: Matt Bourbon
· Secretary: Enrique Badani
· Treasurer: Robert Waddell

As soon as officials were elected, this meeting became the first official meeting of the L.O.S.T. KJ MIDWEST chapter of L.O.S.T. KJs.

Among the subjects discussed were membership dues. It was unanimously decided that we establish a yearly due of $15.00 for members of L.O.S.T. KJ Midwest. Membership dues will be used to:

· Off-set costs associated with our web-hosting service
· Purchase of a L.O.S.T. KJ Midwest banner
· Include a t-shirt and a window decal bearing the logo of our chapter for every member
· Provide one free raffle entry per year (based on available resources)

Dues are payable by April 1st, 2006. Please fill out the membership form available on our website. Dues are not mandatory, as L.O.S.T. KJ Midwest does not want to discourage anybody from attending functions or contributing to the L.O.S.T. community. Non-paying members will be able to purchase t-shirts, decals, and raffle entries at anytime.

Keeping with the National L.O.S.T. KJ club organization, we have implemented our club By-Laws, and also a Hold Harmless form. You can download these forms from our website.

We would like to see the same enthusiasm and initiative throughout the Midwest with members setting up leaderships for their own states/regions. The idea of creating sub-chapters that are governed by our main chapter is still in the works and can be set up as soon as we find leaders willing to do the work for their state/region.

We would like to give a big thanks to all the people that have been constantly visiting and posting on the forums. We want to assure everyone that we will make every effort to make this club bigger & stronger with your support. A club is comprised of its members and it is up to all of us to make LOST KJ MIDWEST a great club.
