That is pretty neat except for the stupid wheels. What is with this 20" wheel on a 4x4 trend that is emerging? Bang one of those massive and heavy wheels on a rock and toss out $500.

Well the rims are "only" 18's, but still, an 18" alloy dented will cost big bucks.

I agree. Notice NO other trail equipment? Like a bumper? winch? Anything? Tow hooks?

Well I think it looks just fine, maybe we should stop bashing the JEEP after all as "02 said it is a JEEP, and to each his or her" :) own, maybe if we didn't bash other peeps rides they would be more friendlier to us Kj's. Just my 2 cents though :)

What?
This is the same crap that is thrown in our direction about KJs.
I don't have a winch or bumpers and have factory alum wheels. I'd wheel that WJ in a heart beat! She is beautiful.

8" LONG ARM Rock Crawler lift
ARB Air Locker in the front!
On-board air-compressor.
limited slip in the rear Axle
Heavy duty rear drive shaft with CV joint.

Looks like a good start to me.

with the mods hes done it seems like he tried to do the whole "low profile" off road tires that i see constantly on super-duties, Rams, and Chevies. but changed his mind half way through and wanted a real trail rig, hats off to him expensive lift!

I dont know what you guys are smokin.....

That WJ would WHEEL ALL OVER YOUR KJ'S (and mine too)

Maybe the style he's done the Jeep in doesn't appeal to you...dont do your's like it then.

What's with the bashing ?....Our KJ's get bashed regularly and nobody here likes it...but some still bash other's rigs. Many Jeeps come from the dealer's lot with 17's /18's on them ...all blinged out..whats the difference ?
The H2 and H3 with their 70:1 crawl ratio's (ours is mid 30's) are way better than ours...not to mention they come FACTORY with E-Lockers (as do Toyota's) but still you see the Hummer bashing. A lifted WJ / ZJ /XJ is as capable if if not more than a KJ (lifted the same)...and bashing still happens.... what gives ?

We are dedicated to our KJ's. We also spend too much time on the defense since Day #1. But I won't get into the they started bit (despite the fact that they did)

"That thing will ever be a true wheeler" has been said before. Take the XJ for example. Take just about anything when it first was put to production.

What about the Xterra. A friend who builds XJ bumpers and has a nice rig thinks that's the next big thing. I think he's crazy, but he's probably not. Just needs the engineering.

What about the WK? Unless you've seen it with your own eyes, you'll probably not believe that one has ever even hit the trail.

Heck, Sometimes I still have to defend my little XJ. I defend you guys too, does it make me mad? No. I laugh (to myself) at their ignorance.

Maybe with a little fender trimming he could have gotten 37"s in there. I don't necessarily like the rims but it does look nice if that kind of stuff is what you are into. I wonder why he only put the ARB air locker in the front.....qurious.

Anyways, I love the WJ. I wish I could have one of them too. They are a little bigger inside and I use every square inch of cargo space as it is in my KJ. Its strange that the WJ has been out since september of 1998 (as a 1999 model) and it is only now that the aftermarket is starting to pick up. I wonder if the same will hold true for our KJ? Will we have to wait 7 years in order to start having some serious aftermarket support?
