OK, maybe I watch to much SPIKE TV or EXTREME 4x4
Any way I recently saw on and older TRUCKs that they installed Rockwells ordered out of a company in Tennessee that specializes in after market or totally rebuild Rockwell axells. These were originally used on military duece and a halfs.
If I'm talking out of my exhaust port then I plead guilty as charged. But I thinki these set of axels would fianlly put an end to the grocery parking lot stigma that has plagued the Liberty for years. As I said I have no idea what I'm talkinng about but Im always open to being educated.
Than-You

2.5 ton rockwells under a KJ, time for photoshop. I am guessing the look would be a cross between a Unimog and a LandRover Discovery.... Could be fun. OK whose up for a little ( ) modifications of the ole' KJ so we can see this....

I would imagine you could get the company to cut them down so they wouldn't be so wide, but I would be scared to try to hang that much weight onto the unibody. Those things would take some heavy duty mounts to keep them under there.

Kind of hated to see this come up again,

he used to call at 2:00 / 3:00 AM with questions like this....his "WHAT IFs" and "WILL THIS WORK" always kept a smile on my face.

Hope he is up there somewhere keeping a space on the park bench warm for me

RIP
