Farabee's Jeep Rental - 3009 W. Hwy 89A (S/W side of 89A & El Camino Rd).

yeah, 4.5~5.5 hours.

If you're on Pacific time, we're one hour ahead of you.

Okay... looks like this is a go, despite all the rain we've had in the Valley!!!

The weather forcast for Sedona on Sat, 27 Dec is:

Sunny
Hi 39*
Lo 29*

Brrrr... shiver, shiver!!!

I just got off the phone with the Ranger Station in Sedona and Sharon at Farabee's. They have bright sunny skies and all the trails are open "except" for Van Deren's Cabin, which is no big deal. There's some mud, but hey... it's a Jeep thing, right!

Beth and I will see everyone who is meeting at the McD's on Hwy 74, just off if I-17 @ 0730. We don't have a CB installed yet in the new JK, so we'll be on a FRS radio... channel 4-1.

Plenty of motels and hotels in Sedona, Flagstaff and the surrounding towns. I've never stayed at any of them so I can't make any recommendations.

EDIT: just checked the NWS site and it got up to a balmy 22* in Sedona today. Guess I'll need to put layers on top of my layers tomorrow :P

Another GREAT RUN!!
My family really enjoyed the company and thrills wheeling Broken Arrow.
My interpretations(first time doing this trail):
-awesome great trail selection, very exciting, thrilling especially "The Steps"
-great scenic views (no wonder everyone likes Sedona!)
-interesting conversations topics like Stick vs Automatic with JJKJ's
-It was cold!

Being only 1" above stock my skids got a bit of a workout. but nothing a BFH treatment will fix.

Wonderful to see AZ L.O.S.T. club members in person again and our "KJ/Jeep affiliates" friends from California and Nevada and their families.
My Family? My daughter says a couple of years from now our driveways will be hosting:
Me: 2010 Jeep Rubicon CRD (VM Motori hopefully)
Wife : 2010 VW Toureg V6 4WD crTDI
Daughter: 2010 Mahindra Diesel 4 door/4WD Pickup
The KJ will be all altered/lifted and be a trailer queen for the club runs!

Roland

Had a fabulous time! Thanks JJ and family for making the trip to play with us. Doug for bringing the kids. And thanks AJ for setting us up on a fun day!
Here's a few pix for those unfortunate ones not there

Parents and sister and her boyrfiend are still talking about the trip. It sounds Like my sisters boyfriend is badly wanting a Jeep now. Gotta figure out how I can help them nail down a sweet XJ or similar cheap so we can get them out wheeling some more!

What a great trip!!
