If you cut slots for using the hi-lift in the rear bumper, you should do them in the front as well.

This is how all of my products are made.:D Doesn't make any sense to build them how I want, because I could only use one and I don't pay myself for it. If it isn't what the customer wants, then you are wasting time and money.

Instead of laser cutting out the word LOST, is it feasible to stamp/bend the word LOST into it? I am sure that would be too costly. Just asking though.

Just remember, not everyone will want shackles, Hi Lift slots, etc, etc, etc......on a bumper. The question for you is; Can you get an estimate of how many want it one way or another? Two or three added options to a basic design?

Stamping, etching, and laser cutting is just a bigger expense, and these aren't "LOST" bumpers, they are Rock Lizard bumpers. There are plenty of individuals that don't have a clue what "LOST" is (although it might do them some good to check you out), and won't understand why it says LOST on a Rock Lizard Bumper.

Can't make everyone happy. If I start customizing bumpers, it starts to get real expensive. It is actually cheaper for me to make one bumper with everything most people want on it, than to make several different ones. Like I mentioned before, I have to make minimum purchases to keep the cost down. If you had to drop $10,000 on a batch of bumpers, how many batches would you feel comfortable buying? I'm trying to design these with everything that is important in a good bumper while keeping the price reasonable. Custom bumpers require extra time as well. When I can line up 25 bumpers and build them all at once exactly the same, less time means less cost to me then less cost to the customer. If I have to stop and build a custom batch of 5 or 6 bumpers, then I have to develop new jigs which require a lot of time to build, and anyways, you get the idea. I am an army of one, so I have to do the best with what I have, and I just can't afford custom orders at this time. Hope that doesn't dissappoint you guys, but hopefully you will see where I am coming from.

Count me in on the rear. And to add my two cents, I say keep the angulation to a minimum like the ARB vs. Trail Ready. Probably easier and cheaper to build that way.

how much of an improvment on approach and departure angles can we expect or is it way too early to tell?

I am not sure how much empty space you have inside the rear bumper but I would like to add an integrated air tank on the wish list.

just do your thing, it is like anything else if you start changing for one person then you have to start making each one different, then the price goes way up and then no one buys.
BOTTOM LINE here is good sturdy bumper(s) with shackle tabs, high lift cut outs, receiver, and like chemguy said keep angulation to a minimum in other words..... KISS Now how about something to dream about with some more drawings of them!
