ok, i am on the verge of purchasing this lift

a 2.5" lift for a 3.7 2003 liberty sport

I want the daystar front and rear spacer with Front & Rear coil spring spacers, sway bar bushings, bump stops, upper strut plate & boots

where can I get it the cheapest???

I found it on boulderbars, but i dont know how to order from there???

and do i need new shocks right after i lift it or no? but i will buy the ranchos later, just wondering if i need them at same time

Lets see your shocks are over 5 years old , they are junk , so yes you need new ones front and rear, You need new ones for the rear anyways since the stock ones are or will be too short.
To order from AllJs just call them and order

You can do the rear shocks any time. They don't require you to tear anything down to do it. But do the fronts when you install the lift. That way you don't have to tear it all apart to replace the fronts in a month or two.

Not to mention the cost to re-align the Jeep and to get the coil/shock assembly disassembled (requires a strut compressor), if you don't do it yourself.

I have a strut/spring compressor it was around like $35...I'm going to do all the work myself, and I'm getting an alignment in 4 days from accident, then there is a 90 day to go back, that's when i will go back

quick answer....a day...The stock rear shocks are not long enough
when you lift, they will top out going over speed bumps or out of a driveway, you maybe able to go a few days but trust me you will not like the ride

AGAIN shocks DO NOT make it any higher only springs do, shocks control the bounce, without shocks you would be like a bouncing ball going down the street!

Does not anyone read what you need to do/ what is required? Not being a jerk but its been talked about/posted/ discussed/ prodded/ and then its like it is new news!
Plus WHY would you want to use junk stock shocks ???

Cancel your appointment for a later date, and then do it right the first time.

I havent seen anything that you HAVE to replace the front struts right away.

Since your paying a shop to do the install, do you really want to have to pay them again later to put in new struts? How many miles do currently have on your front struts now, 30,000 ot more, if so they're about wore out.
Don't forget that you will have to also get a front end alignment after you lift it.

Yes you are right you don't HAVE to but I think some common sense comes into play for things like KJ04 stated above. stock shocks are junk pretty much from the factory, so why keep them,

See and as a NOOB, I dont know squat. So its nice to learn these things. I had no idea that they would make bad struts and shocks even coming out of the factory, and I understand that they arent really made for lifting, now......

KJ04 I just canceled my appt. and im gonna have to wait another 3 weeks until I can get my shocks

Good choice, it is much better to do it right than to half a** it and then think that all Lifted KJs ride terrible. Shocks from the factory are almost as bad as the stock tires, after 30,000 or so miles they are pretty much junk. Lots of people run them over 100,000 and say it still rides great that is until you put new springs/shocks on and then they say "It never rode this good brand new" All of my new vehicles get new upgraded tires, springs and shocks within 15-20,000 miles of purchase

I did the lift and just the front struts
Everybody is right
You will be happy that the jeep is lifted and you can handle the ride I drive 3000 mile cross county on factory rear shocks

so it is drivable but once you get that good set on there you will wonder why you didnt do it sooner
the ride is livable but after changing them out the differance is night and day

best thing to do is to do it right all at once of course
but if you REALLY want to do it right then skip the spacer lift all together

just my 2 cents

I am currently looking into removing the front pucks and installing just a coil to get the lift I want

Dont know which one though
