Okay, maybe your Libby can'r perform as well as the Libby in the commercial below...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wjs-gDzK ... re=related

but feel free to post a few pics of your Jeep water fording;

After this run I actually had some water on the passenger side floorboard. I'll either need to install a bilge pump of remove the carpet :lol:

The key to crossing deep water is not to splash water over the hood and not to stop in the middle of it.
http://www.jeep.com/trailrated/waterfording.html

A friend of mine dove into a big puddle with his TJ. He hydrolocked the engine, threw a piston rod out the oil pan and had to be towed out of the woods then all the way home :oops:

The biggest key is to know how deep it is and don't drive in if it is too deep.

Yeah, the key to water fording in a KJ is keeping a good bow wake going. Once you're stuck, you have about 3 mins before things get wet.

here's how i do it... i make sure there are no logs or sink hole or alligators ...i only do this for big bodies of water though just because it can get boring if your walking more then wheeling...lol

and the after math

to show you how deep it was...the Toyota is on 33's

we were able to make everyone go through it and the smallest was a Cherokee on 31"s because we made sure

If that happened to me, I would rip out that carpet and line-x, herculine, or whatever is best to make it solid and a little bit more water tight.

BTW, which holes do you suppose that the water got in the most?

The door doesn't provide a very solid seal so it could be that.... I wouldn't line-x it, someone else here did and they said they could here every piece of gravel on the road basically, they still liked it though lol. I would get rubber/vinyl carperts and some drain plugs...

So I've had the ECU re-flashed twice for water crossings. Running the A/C or defroster at idle will rev the engine up to 1200 rpm, and then stall on me. How am I supposed to go to work Monday morning and show off the weekend's activities without any mud on the KJ????
I'll be down south this summer. Where are the trails?!?!?!?

I so miss Paragon!
Not as deep as I have tried
