Hey Greg, What do you know aboot Kitchen planning and layout?????

Just about to order the new kitchen for the house, going Galley Style, but, can you put the sink opposite side of the room to the stove, or should I put them on the same side????

Its all about what suits your cooking style as well as budget and cost influence items e.g.plumbing (I know you know some exceptional plumber who's pretty cheap), electrical etc..

Its a bit had over the forum but if you wish I can come up and go through some options with you over a Bundy 's GB :D

Thanks Matey..

Money... WHAT MONEY????????? I'm going as cheap as possible, within reason, I want it to look good and Add value to the place. I downloaded the IKEA kitchen planner, its pretty good, as you can set up different designs and then look at them in 3D. I'll shoot you a couple of screen shots. Maybe catch up over that Ginger Beer...

You need to get Liz to come round - she's a whiz at designing kitchens. Ikea is the way to go for quality and value.

and bench tops don't have to be stone....we were/are skint so 40mm waterproof mdf with 4 coats of floor coating are our bench tops for now. $150 all up from memory for two 3000x 1200 pieces. In fact I like it so much we may keep it

Yes, Its going to be an Ikea Kitchen, price and quality, yes, very good stuff... Thinking of their solid wood bench tops, normally i don't like the solid wood, but.......

Just trying to catch up on all thats been happening while away from the PC

So who knows anything about brake censor lights on dash? :?:

Yesterday afternoon I had the "ABS" light and the "Brake!" light come on. After re-starting they stayed off for a while then came back on. Called into Jeep the checked it out with diagnostic thingy.........and yes rear brake censor faulty quoted me $159 plus fitting = $220

Came on this morning for about the first 5 or so KMs and hasn't been on since (another 50kms) :!:

Could be that connection is just dirty Greg, Ross's always played up, and he cleaned it and its been all good. I still get the ABS on occasionally from my front right, everytime I drive thru muddy water, stay on for a few days then seems to dry out and all is good again..

Didn't you mention something aboot driving thru deep water last week????

Yeah, two days ago I was driving through flood water across the road about half to two thirds up the wheels. Although I thought that would have cleaned the brakes and wheels from all the dust & dirt from the Gawler & Flinders ranges trip :?:

Greg, grab a 10mm spanner and crawl under the car and on top of the diff pumpkin you will see the sensor, clean any dirt away from around it and take it out and give it a good clean up, check the connector pins for good contacts, I had to bend one of mine a little so it made good contact with the female part and all has been good sinse.
Hope this helps.
