UPDATE This is how to fit a JK warn high clearance bumper to your KK :

First after removing the front bumper, some parts to remove

Image

Warning if you want a clean job

Image

The official KK trail tested helper

Image

Now a little update to the bumper to make it work together with the jeep

Image

Image

Now a little update to the jeep:

Image

Now you are ready to bolt the bumper on and finally cut the original bumper to get what you need and throws out the unused plastic doo doo

Image

And now the new pimped kk 2008 trail ready

Probably that the warn bumper is a little easier to fit than the bumper that you find out, like you see, the warn one is so easy to bolt on, all you really need is a welder to add the 4 brackets, a good drill and a small angle grinder to trim the original bumper

oh yeah... But for 250, It's going to be a fun project and in the end it will save a little weight and still look good. And your right about the welder... It's time to play this weekend

Oh also, nice touch using the old bumper for filler :D

Liberty Jack, really nice to see someone take the initiative and make something work for the KK. Reminds me of someone that made a Fabtech bumper fit their KJ.

Boblemoche, you said this weekend there would be new pics. The weekend is in full effect.

Digger, are you doing the Warn bumper as well or a different one but smae idea of taking an aftermarket bumper and making it work? Either way, awesome.

lol thats what i was thinkin when i got my rockcrusher

then after like a week

it turned this flat orange color

so i sprayed it down with brake cleaner and sprayed it down with black spray paint, if it peels or whatever, i'll crawl up under there with a sandblaster and do it again :P

rust is optional too

Nice!!!
I WISH that my kk had a winch... just for aesthetics sake! since mine is not trail rated, has nerfbars and 18" wheels....

Based on that concept I will buy a WARN winch... and then install it to my bumper using nothing more than duct tape, zip ties and maybe one or two screws....
that should hold the sensored word!

it's stronger than electrical tape... Just trust me on this one

*Blood may or may not have been included with the electrical tape install job*
