Your custom winch-bumper looks great Boblemoche! Congratulations. Don't beat yourself up, it looks great, will be wonderful to have and you've really developed something.

Thank you for posting some updated photos.

Wow Boblemoche, what a nice looking bumper you've made...now is time to play...when are we going to trail together with our KK to show to everybody on Qc 4X4 that the KK is not only a mail crawler or a grocery getter but a real 4x4 with great off-road skills

What gauge steel did you go with? Sorry if I missed it somewhere before this.

1/8 shell, 3/8 winch plate and frame mounts. I regret my choice of 1/8 should have gone with 3/16 or 5/32. the rear bumper is 3/16

i really admire your dedication on these bumpers boblemoche!

did you use a gravity band saw to make most of the cuts or a torch and grinder?

I dont have a torch or plasma. most of it is cut with an angle grinder. I use the gravity band saw for the tick stuff (3/8 angle iron / 1'' shackle tabs etc.. ) I just got a nice chop saw a few weeks ago. its perfect for the small angle cuts
