Okay... the orange sidemarkers and the orange turn signals is there any way to make them clear? Possibly by using brake fluid or.. Are they made like that with no hopes of making them clear?

this topic again... no they do not make any clear ones, but you could find a company and ask them to make some for you...

Hmm orange and khaki... I like the Orange idea but not too sure on the Dark Khaki I don't know if it would look too good... Orange and Black sure would but that's alot of work...

I'm using NiteShades on the back lights and on the front turn signals. With the Dark Khaki black lens should blend in better.

not to backtrack you or anything but for inspections aren't vehicles that came with markers or designated to require markers supposed to have the correct color marker in place for inspection?

for instance with the dot inspections for rigs if a marker location was supposed to be amber and it was red = fail if a marker was supposed to be there and there was nothing there = fail

with our KJ/KK's ? I don't know I wasn't certed to inspect regular vehicles

this discrepancy may be the issue DOT was having with clear tail lights and what not that they eventually said, -Whatever- have the correct color bulb once foreign carmakers were sending us cars that came with that particular type of light it was either send the cars back, make dealers replace all of them with 'normal' lights or just rewrite the regs

Funny you should say that ... I just painted my hooks Hemi Orange. I couldn't get rid of/replace the side markers so I went they way you were thinking (one small step at a time). I'll try and get a pic soon. I think it looks not too bad with the Dark Khaki myself and it definitely helps me find mine at the mall

It's difficult when you have the "Jeep Disease" but not enough money or a workshop ... :( ... you resort to painting things .. lol

No, brake fluid will not turn your corner markers clear.
