Is there a place I can cook over charcoal or should I bring me a grill?

I was going to bring a small grill to cook the burgers on, but Vern said he had a propane grill at his campsite. Unless he has a charcoal one too, I guess you need to bring yours.

Been on vacation for a week - 6 hours ago I drove 1100 miles in 15 hours straight to , believe it or not, get home and get ready for this event! I was in the San Antonio, Texas area and Interstate 10 in west Texas has a speed limit of 80 MPH! So the CRD goes flying down the road. I had a good time there but now it is time for some LOST fun....

SENDING PM to AZKJ
see you guys Saturday!

Roland

Okay!!! It's almost time and there's room for more people. So, if you wanna make the trip let us know and I'll add you to the list.

We'll be on CB channel 4 and FRS radio channel 4 / 1.

I don't know what Signcutter21's surprise is, but I have a fun surprise trail we're gonna do after we get down off Four Peaks. It won't take long and there's lot's of sand!!!

See everyone at the parking area on Four Peaks Road tomorrow @ 0900 and rollout @ 0930!!

Signcutter21 +1 (Katelynn's famous pasta)
AZKJ +1 (hamburgers, rolls, baked beans, condiments, tomatoes and onions)
oldhockeyvb +1 (BBQ grill and other stuff)
neatus + 2 (carne asada, tortillas and salsa)
Silverdiesel (a bunch of stuff)
Renstock (Hebrew National Hot dogs)

I will have to take a rain check, or ride along. Jeep is not reliable at this point, needs fuel tank purged. Sorry.

Well, we're definitely not gonna make this one. La Libertad has just decided to not start - the "sentry key" thing is complaining (light on solid, not flashing, so indicating a system problem and not a bad key) and the engine only runs for two seconds before shutting off. The battery seems to be going as well - I hope the two events are related, so replacing the battery will solve the sentry key issue, but we'll see.

Now the starter won't even catch, even when it's taking a jump. I expect the computer is hosed, so now I get to have it towed to a dealer.

Hey Guys,

I'd love to make it. I came down with some sort of cold this week, and it is progressively getting worse! To make it even more fun the KJ is sitting in the airport parking lot so I do make it I'll be in a Toyota.

Wendy is out of town, and I have FlyingBaby too. Maybe I'll try and make it and turn around at the top of 4 peaks. If I'm feeling better I'll be there in the Sierra Expedition Tacoma.

What can I say??? Another great day on the trail with AZ LOST Jeeps and a super group of people. It doesn't get any better!! There were 4 Libertys, 1 Wrangler JK and some friends of oldhockeyvb... Tom in a nice Toyota FJ and Tom's son Ryan in a GMC truck. Pablo was riding along with Silverdiesel and Neatus' friend Oscar was riding with him.

Four Peaks Road was a easy drive, nothing really special as far as the traii goes. At the end of the trail we made a left into a large sandy wash for some real Jeep play time. I think everyone had fun playing in the wash. Then, a few of the people decided to get serious by trying to go into a deeper wash and come out on the other bank, which was a steep climb. Everyone that tried made it in and out, some a little easier than others. Signcutter21 and Neatus made it up and out in reverse. Katlynn also gave it a try and showed the guys how it was done.

We had three and a half stucks for the day. thee guys took a strap and Neatus made it unstock on his own power.

After playing in the sand for an hour or so, it was off to oldhockeyvb's camp for the BBQ. We had lots of food, including "elk burgers" provided by Vern. After we all stuffed our selves, we had the LOST annual meeting where the new club officers were installed.

They are:

- Signcutter21... President
- Neatus... Vice President
- Dynamike... Treasurer
- Mrs AZKJ... Secretary
- Renstock... Trail Captain

Mike, the newly elected LOST President surprised everyone with a drawing for a $25.00 gift card to Sportsman's Warehouse which was won by Mrs AZKJ.

Just before sunset we all headed for home except oldhockeyvb who was sending another night at his camp. Vern, thanks for your hospitality and hope we didn't trash your camp too much.

Here are a few of the many pics I took today.

Speaking as stuck number two I have to say that I believe in giving the task at hand my 100% and that I was so good and stuck that it took 2 jeeps pulling side by side to get me un-stuck. Thanks for the assist Signcutter21 and Neatus.

And one more pic
