I found and added 5 red clearence lights on the back of the jeep
(I just have never seen another jeep with these on the roof)
I will get a better picture during the day but this was the first night shot with the camera phone after installing that night

Well what do yall think

Its hard to see. Are they on the roof below your roof basket?

It certainly makes it a one-of-a-kind! I think its kinda cool looking. Get some daytime pics too so that we can see where they are mounted. Nice work!

Are there any issues that could arise from them being too bright for other drivers behind you?

Looks really nice, thanks for posting this. It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only person in the world that has been pondering running lights for my Jeep, although I was originally thinking primarily for my TJ, all this kind of mod work is like a disease that won't stop... because I've started thinking about getting a set for my KJ first.
Excellent idea!

How about riggin' some kind of surface mount LED's on the light bar covers? Something that could be easily unplugged when you take the covers off to use the lights. Try'in to think outside the box here.

Find some tiny little grommet style single light LEDs and drill a hole in between each light on your bar, stick em in, wire them up and seal with black RTV.

PS-I have no idea if lights like that even exist.

i started with the back ones first cause
im not sure about the front ones
the ones i got i didnt like on the front
also there is a slight curve to the front roof where as the back roof is nice and flat
then there was also the whole overhead factory foglight thing
now i dont roof fogs up there but that dosent mean i dont ever want the factory fogs on the front roof of the kj

so im still looking for the right amber lights to put on the front roof
just havent figured out what

so i guess just like the lift the rear is/was easier then the front
