Thanks Chris for posting this

Its not what I started out to do , but after making 2 other brackets for on the pillar and not liking the look I made this one up just to get it mounted SOMEWHERE!!!
Wires are all hidden, doesn't show too much from the front , easy to remove if need be for security ( bracket and Scan Gauge both are velcroed on ) so I guess it does what it needs to do

lean over the wheel? :? :?
any where else you would need to reach or stretch to reach it and take your eyes off the road
I had it stuck everywhere in the two weeks I had it before mounting it here, seems to be most conveinant place at least for me

any way rip it is able to pull some data from the computer on the jeep like the ones you see. It is a basic data monitor with a built in scan tool. Also it is plug and play

I commonly set mine on gallons/hour, voltage, manifold pressure (16 psi boost is common), water temp (had some glow plug issues) - but there are a lot of other settings too - basically anything the computer reads - the Scangauge will display.

you can also read and clear codes.

but on CRD's you can't leave it plugged in for long - overloads the data buss and will kick you out of overdrive -
but- no indication that affects the V6

I keep changing the settings on mine just to see what all it will do and if it helps me drive better  , have the wire ran behind the knee panel and up to the guage itself all hidden. I got mine on sale , great deal and lets me know a lot more of whats happening before it is a real problem
