a friend of mine bought a CJ5, and the previous owner put a quick release from an airline on his front bumper, then the male fitting on the flag. pretty cool little set up if you ask me.

On Eugene originally we were going to use a bicycle safety flag. The axle mount that comes with it came be mounted under one of the lugs holding the spare tire holder to the door.

Remove spare
Loosen one of the upper lugs holding the mount to the door
Slide flag holder on
Tighten lug
Bend holder upright
Mount spare
Install flag in holder when needed

Thats what I did on mine too, but as was stated before, Silver Lake requires front mount....

I used a combination of L-brackets mounted to where my tow hooks are under the front bumper... I don't think I have any pictures, but I'll look around

Bad quality, but you get the point...

I have a front hitch. I had a piece of metal welded onto a tow hook for my flag.

There are many shops around Silver lake that sell flags. They are about $20 for the flag. some will sell mounting hardware.

It has to be 10 foot tall, mounted on the front bumper. Where does everyone get the flag from??
