NEW:
KKKinc. KJ light Bar. with stainless hardware, 4 HELLA 500's.

DrawTite front reciever.

Almost complete sub/amp set up. So far just 2 Alpine 605 mono amps running the two Alpine SWR 12". The amp rack is built out of steel tubeing and shaped like a roll cage. The wires hanging down in the center will soon go to an Alpine 4ch amp (not mounted yet) to power the Alpine Type X components front and rear. The amp rack uses all stainless allen head bolts to hold the amps and the cage to the boxes/jeep.

Also pictured is my 04 Yamaha YFZ450, with way too much to list here.

With that setup, you should be able to bounce over the rocks. No need for lift, rails, skids. Time it right and crank up the bass just when you need to bounce over the boulder.

thanks for the comments. The amps are fine over bumps. There is a 1/2" square stock frame behind the amps that you cant see from the front. The frame fits the amp's perfectly and get welded to the main bar in the middle of the cage. then I have stainless allen bolts going in the 4 amp mounting locations with a nylock nut on the back. I just cranked them down and they are still siting fine. I thought about runing some 1/8 inch foamaround the frame between the steel and the amp, but it dont think i need to.

I still want to hear the system too, I had to send my head unit back to Alpine for warranty repairs, the touch screen was acting up. I may drag some long RCA's from my brothers car to my jeep to see what it sounds like or at least tune the amps a bit.

As for the light bar, it is a one of a kind. once I get a tubeing bender and a few other things that will knock down the build time, i may start making more stuff and see what happens.

first off I love everything you have done with your jeep. The smoked turn signals look great on a sport.

Ohh man... lol! KKKustom does stand for KrazyKidKustoms, a small motorsports / car audio / kustomizing shop I started in NY. The name works very well, it gets your attention one way or another, and that is what brings in bussiness... or sends it away! ohh well.

also, I never thoguht of it like that, I have a white jeep for my kkkustom demo truck! lol, thats funny, I got white becasue it wont show scratches from trees and branches off-road.

anyway, thats for all your comments on my jeep, and not shooting my tread all to crap on this little rant! lol.

KKKustom, great setup, love the "Stormtrooper" Black & White theme............I love black wheels......

What size tyres you running ?Looks like either 265/70/16's, or 245/75/16's on 8" rims ?

Have you disconnected or removed your front sway bar ? IFS looks like its flexing quite nicely !! :P

@ KKKustom

Very nice clean looking rig and exellent work/mods.

I have a quick question...what make/model/size wheel are you using and what is the backspacing? I have a 2005 with the same color scheme and am planning on going for a similar look. I love that black wheel on white vehicle look. Also do you have straight-on front and rear shots w/o the flex so I can see how far the wheels stick out of the wheel well..if at all...also, any tire rubbing issues?
Thanks,

John

31" 10.5" R15... RockCrawler 15X8 3.75"BS. Swaybar is connected but i bet it would be a million times better without it becasue that tire wont go up anymore into the fender. but it is a pain to put it back on for the road.

Thanks for the props... Wheel sizes are stated above... I may have a few pics head on... let me look in a bit... rubs a bit in the normal areas... front bumper lower lip, but i cut the crap out of it and made a inner fender patch, pintchweld beat down and re molded. back just rubs a bit on the fender flare when tucked.

My last truck was all black and chrome, i sorta went the opposite with this one.

I have gotten a lot of response on the light bars... I gota get off my butt and make some for you all! the wires all go in the bar, and dont the weather striping on the drivers side into the front fender and the engine compartment. switch is a simple 2 pole under the steering wheel. keep your eyes posted in the fabrication area when i get the bars built!
