Your rear bumper just moved to the #1 spot of my Lib's "most-wanted mod" list. I am especially looking forward to the heigher hitch and hi-lift jack slots. Keep at it!
:D :D :D

BTW, I too will be looking to pick it up from you in Colorado Springs, as I am in between Denver and CS.

What CAD package do you use? Just curious.

Bumpers look great! Especially the raised rear reciever.

jeep will lose all cool points if they produce THAT monstrocity. A firing squad should be in order for the responsible design team.

RL: I'm ready to take a trip out there for a prototype! :)

Can you show us CAD of the tire carrier and hi-lift mounts too?

My only request is for a little bit of space to be left to mount a cb antenna, if possible.

Better get out the guns! That's the 2007 Jeep Compass targeted for the young and urban crowd.

Really.....
I'd like to see how fast someone lasts in the hood with that thing! I think the "compass" points in the direction where you're most likely to get laughed at.

I forget who asked, but I REALLY doubt you could get two 33"s side by side on the back without hanging off each side. The tailgate isn't even 4 feet wide, much less 66 inches, right?

I asked, but I was thinking of having them 'stacked', one behind the other, (not side by side). This would put a little more torque on the gate of course, but might be doable. It's just a wish list idea (although I would pay $100 extra for that option).

Ooooo. I haven't been around in a while. I am now lusting after more Jeep parts. I had just about given up on the rear bumper and figured the old gal would be stuck with that bubble butt for the duration.
Very nice!

My wife is into horses, big time. Dressage actually so probably the most expensive of the sports. So I get to buy anything I want and she can't complain. Yippeeee!

Pulled it out of the garage earlier today for a better picture of what was done at the time. Just about done with the other side. I'll have pictures of it pretty much finished tomorrow, but I probably won't have a carrier done up yet.

Looks better at a distance in some natural light.

That is a good idea to have two tires-it just seems a little big and bulky and too heavy to be in one place. I am more worried about overall size of two tires stacked then I am about the strength. Up here we do a lot of wheeling in the trees where no full-size dares to go. I am confident RL could make a mount strong enough-but it may be just too big. One tire is anywhere from 8-12 inches wide so it has potential to lengthen the vehicle by a foot. May have to throw the second on the roof.
