Hi,

Well this Saturday i am going on a trail run with my girl. She well be driving Her 06 CRD libby, and my buddy a 98 XJ. I am ride along cause of arm. I was wondering if anyways wants to meet up and do the trail. I am thinking we meet around 8 or 9am. I am open for suggestions. No later than 11am thought, since we want to hit the trail early and get back sometime in the noon. We want to have fun on the trail and take pics maybe relax for a bit and eat lunch on the trail. IDK like i said open for suggestions. Thanks

any questions please call me at 303-653-6056

Here is all the info needed.

Oh and meeting up i figured we could meet up at the Sonic in Castle Rock that is across from the home depot. Or meet at the Home Depot parking lot.

Driving Directions

From Denver, take I-25 south through Colorado Springs to take the Circle Drive exit at the south end of town (exit 138). Circle Drive becomes Lake Avenue as you follow it west. The road ends at the Broadmoor Hotel and a traffic circle. Follow the circle around to take a left turn and follow the road around to the left (south) side of the hotel. The road will then turn into Old Stage Road as you head west into the mountains. Continue on Old Stage Road until it turns into Gold Camp Road. The Eagle Rock trailhead is 13.7 miles down this graded dirt road, with the Saran Wrap entrance just past the Eagle Rock trailhead on the right.

I normally would say "yes" but my last trip to MOAB yielded a folded tranny skid and a tranny pan smashed so badly that I have no clue how the fluid is staying in there. I also thing I have an engine mount or two that needs adjustment.

Probably would not be wise to go wheeling until these issues are addressed.

I would steal marty's XJ and go, but my mom came in for a visit, so she is priority this weekend.... Also, looking at the mountain, I do not think eagle rock is clear. (I can see many of the trails from my back porch...

Hey ya we went. It was fun, but the trail was snowed over. IT was hard to to get around it. We couldn't make it up the trail that far, but we hit alot of other trails next to it for fun. Ill get pictures posted up tonight to my photobucket and post them. It was fun though

I was hoping there'd be some Slaughterhouse Gulch pics in there somewhere.
