I just found out and figured out that I have $250 to spend on the Jeep, I have permission from the boss (wife)

Now what do I spend it on, I'm thinking 3 of the 4 factory skids to get a little protection underneath, the 250 won't stretch far enough to get the gas tank skid too, unless someone has a hell of a deal for me?

Or is there something better at this point, probably an trail riding that is done will be class 1 or novice trails for several years so I don't need to go all out right now, but.............

ideas on how I can stretch this $250 long ar far?

I recommend the skid plates. Its no bling like so many other mods but Its the best bang for the buck If you want to improve offroadability

Not sure of the pricing. But they seem to have pretty good deals here.
Check it out.
If this is a NO no, to post this link just let me know. I am not affiliated with them in any way. Just trying to help out.

I did a little looking and the engine skid that this site lists speratly has been integrated with the front suppension skid, so there are only 4 skids total on the KK now, not the 5 different ones that this site has listed, well this is based on comparing data from the site posted here and justforjeeps

Transmission Skid Plates 47.43
Transfer Case Skid Plates 47.43
Fuel Tank Skid Plates $201.60

These are nice prices for all the Skids...

No not yet, Not sure if they will fit the Nitro. They do have some great pricing. On OEM parts as well.
I believe they are the same as others are selling, as far as thickness goes. The part # are the same as justforjeeps.

It looks like moparpartsamerica sells both the combo skid kit and the engine kit.
Here is a comparison.

justforjeeps---------------------------------------moparpartsamerica
82210769 $74.92 (Replaces 82209026)----82210769 $74.93 - Engine/Front Suspension
------------------------------------------------------82209026 $45.00 - Engine Skid Plate
82210003 $47.43 -------------------------------82210003 $47.43 - Transmission Skid Plate
82210937 $47.43 -------------------------------82210937 $47.43 - Transfer Case Skid Plate
82210936 $225.00 ------------------------------82210936 $201.60 - Fuel Tank Skid Plate

As far as pricing goes they are very close, except for the fuel tank.
What it comes down to is shipping.

ahh, yea you can run into that with some places, moparparts probably would box them ALL up and send them as one thing j4j probably set it as separate units
